At Play as One, we know that victory does not come easily. Every day the competition for the hearts of young people and their families gets bigger, more challenging and even more threatening. But in this crazed world, we believe Jesus Prayer in John 17 is being fulfilled. Verse 15: My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one. Verse 17: Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth. Vere 20-23 20 “My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, 21 that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. 22 I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one— 23 I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me. Jesus prayer is the catalyst that turns current and future generations to Christ. It is the power of God working through his people who are unified… who are one! Let’s be a community of people and a generation that know what it means… to run the race for the imperishable crown.
