PAO GUITAR

Play As One Fall 2025 is excited to offer two levels of guitar instruction again this season: Beginner and Intermediate. Ben Coleman will be returning as our head guitar clinician. We will have a 9 week season ending with a PAO Music Concert on Thursday, October 16th at EFCC. The class will focus on learning guitar basics, including chords, scales, and strumming, with a focus on learning worship songs. Students will be assigned to a beginner or intermediate group depending on skill level. An acoustic guitar is required. Students will receive music, a tuner, picks, and a PAO shirt. The spring season will run from August 21st through October 16th. Sign up now to reserve your spot for your 5th - 12th-grade musicians.

5th to 12th Grade Practices (Beginner & Intermediate) - Thursdays 6:30 - 7:30 PM

Practices will be held at Emmanuel Faith Community Church (Subject to Change)

Play as One Guitar - Lesson 01

01 PAO Guitar Lessons: GUITAR BASICS

In this lesson, we go over basic information about the guitar. This is great place to start if you are new to playing a guitar.

Play as One Guitar - Lesson 02

02 PAO Guitar Lessons: TUNING YOUR GUITAR

In this lesson, we discuss how to tune your guitar. Remember… the best way to tune your guitar is to either use a tuner or a guitar tuning app. If you don’t have access to either of these tools then the next best thing is to tune your guitar by listening to my 6th string (low “E”) and then use the tuning method.

04 PAO Guitar Lessons: REVELATION SONG
